HOW TO KILL A CITY (SPRING 2022)

What: an 8-week session to read, study, discuss, and create art around the issues of gentrification, homelessness, and ​​displacement. We will use How to Kill a City as the base text to understand root causes, and read creative work by artists such as Anastacia-Reneé and Tracy Chapman.

When: every Sunday, 10:30-12:30, May 15 to June 26. You MUST commit to attending 5 out of 7 sessions

Who: hosted by Sông2Sea and open to

  1. if you have ancestral connection to Vietnam/Southeast Asia and would like to join Sông2Sea in the future

  2. an organizer who want to deepen your understanding of gentrification and homelessness, and

  3. all interested community members
